Raspberry Pi gets a tasty upgrade as Eben Upton looks to give businesses a slice of the action

The Raspberry Pi mini computer, invented by computer science expert and entrepreneur, Eben Upton, has been upgraded.

The new Raspberry Pi 2 device, which is on sale for less than £25, is now powerful enough to support an increased range of business environments, particularly in manufacturing, where it could be used to control heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and machine to machine (M2M) communications, for example.

The faster performance will also bring new applications like computer vision to robots, smart devices, drones and other electronics.
