Apple has released an update for its Safari browser.
Safari Update 1.3.1 for is for users of Mac OS X v10.3 ("Panther") and 2.0.1 for OS X v10.4 ("Tiger") users. As usual, Apple has given the bare minimum of information about the upgrade and failed to provide any information about possible security issues that have forced the update.
Instead, Mac users are told that the updates "improves website compatibility, application stability and support for third-party web applications".
The updates are available from the Software Update System Preference pane or for download from Apple's Web site.
The Tiger update weighs in at 4.5MB, and the Panther update at 3.8MB.
