Parallels has launched a new version of its service provider offering Plesk Panel. Version 9.5 offering a range of new services, including Google Services for Websites, PCI compliance, support of most virtualisation platforms, and a smattering of self-diagnostic tools.
The support for virtualisation has been expanded considerably offering users the choice of most of the most popularplatforms including Parallels Virtuozzo Containers, Parallels Server Bare Metal, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware ESX, Citrix Xen and KVM. PCI compliance for servers is also provided to ensure more secure transactions.
Parallels said that the Plesk Panel 9.5 would enable service providers to offer a whole range of new services. "Parallels Plesk Panel 9.5 is the most feature-rich and easiest control panel for shared hosting," said Jack Zubarev, president at Parallels. "These significant updates enable shared hosting companies to generate new revenue streams and deliver better services to their small business customers."
