More stylish versions of Google Glass went on sale in the UK today as online fashion outlets Net a Porter and Mr Porter became the first third-party retailers to offer the augmented reality spectacles.
Women’s fashion retailer Net a Porter has pledged to sell a limited number of Google Glass devices that come with frames designed by Diane Von Furstenberg (DVF), while Mr Porter, the men's version of Net a Porter, is selling three frames from the Google Glass Titanium Collection.
The DVF Made for Glass collection is £250 more expensive than the standard Google Glass device, starting at £1,250 as opposed to £1,000. Meanwhile, the Titanium versions of Glass starts at £1,120.
Each package from the DVF Made for Glass and Titanium collections includes Glass, a frame and shade, a mono earbud, and case.

Glass went on sale to the UK public in April via a designated website that required users to sign up before they were able to purchase the "Explorer" version of the product. Google quietly added its augmented reality headset to the UK Google Play Store last week as Apple announced the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch.
Glass includes a small screen just above the right eye that can be used to deliver directions, social media streams and web pages direct to the user. The wearable computer allows wearers to take a picture, record a video and read messages.
