Instructions:

Techworld search allows you to search the Techworld site to find news, reviews, blogs and features i.e. interviews, how to etc. Simply enter your search criteria or keyword(s) in the box above and click 'search'.

The search function supports simple boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT), precedence (using brackets, AND takes precedence over OR), wildcard characters (? and *), and is case-insensitive. Words separated by just spaces are taken as seperated by AND e.g. 'red hat' is the same as 'red AND hat'. Use double quotes for phrases e.g. '"red hat"'. To search on partial words use wildcards as required. Most other punctuation is ignored, except period (.), hyphen (-), pound (£) and dollar ($).

network
Find all articles with the word 'network' in them as a distinct word.

net*
Find all articles with any words starting with 'net' (e.g. network, nettles). Note that this search will not find just 'net'.

network AND "web server"
Find all articles with the word 'network' and the phrase 'web server' as distinct items.

network OR "web server"
  or
network, "web server"
Find all articles with the word 'network' or the phrase 'web server' as distinct items.

(network OR wireless) AND "web server"
Find all articles with 'web server' and then either 'network' or 'wireless' (or both).
