Arbico’s HD8570 X2 is a top performer across the board, using a 3.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 and 4GB allocation of RAM to achieve an excellent WorldBench speed score of 123.

Gaming performance is also impressive, courtesy of the Arbico HD8570 X2's ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 graphics card. This component is in essence two graphics processors on a single board – a cost-effective solution that results in a huge amount of processing power.

It’s possible to get better performance from a pair of graphics cards in scaleable link interface (SLI) mode, but this leaves little room for upgrades and would require the Arbico HD8570 X2 to have a more complex system design.

Audio performance is boosted by the Arbico HD8570 X2’s Creative X-Fi ExtremeAudio sound card, while there are two PCI slots and one PCI Express slot for further upgrades. There’s plenty of room in the case for additional optical or hard drives.

A total of 750GB of storage is provided by the Arbico HD8570 X2’s pair of hard drives, one with a capacity of 250GB and the other 500GB. Unlike in CyberPower's Gamer Infinity Crossfire GT, however, these aren’t in Raid configuration and you won’t gain any added data security or performance.

The Arbico HD8570 X2's 22in Samsung SM-2232BW is a former PC Advisor Gold award winner. It’s a good-looking monitor that’s perfect for the Arbico HD8570 X2’s powerful graphics.
