In the age of Amazon and ecommerce retailers are having to adapt to rapidly changing customer expectations faster than ever.

Speaking at an event organised by UK data startup Black Swan this week, the head of research at Retail Week Alex Hamilton outlined eight of the biggest challenges retailers face in 2016 and some of the innovations that they are using to turn them into opportunities.
