Technology has finally caught up that most traditional of sporting events, The Tour de France. From 2015, the action will go beyond cameras on motorcycles and helicopters and embrace big data, with a live web feed offered to millions of fans showing each rider’s GPS location, spped and proximity to rivals, all using saddle sensors.
