"As a freelancer, it’s not good enough to be an awesome developer or an amazing AI and machine learning expert, you also need to sell your services to somebody else. And this is something that a lot of people that go freelance underestimate," says Kasriel.
"Some people are really successful as employees and they realise as an employee they’re not getting paid as much as they should. Which is quite often one of the reasons people go freelance. People realise their skills are really in demand but their employer uses salary grids where each employee gets paid more or less the same thing so they feel like they’re not getting their fair share," he adds.
