Parallels has updated its Parallels Server product, fixing several issues that could cause the virtualisation application to crash.

According to the company a bug that caused a kernel panic when playing sound inside a virtual machine with two virtual CPUs has been fixed; a problem with a non-responsive mouse and keyboard during the installation of Mac OS X Server guest OS has been fixed; and a crash on boot after exiting PXE boot (from Acronis PXE server) has been fixed.

Other problems have been fixed including one that caused the Parallels Management Console to crash when closing it on certain Mac OS X hosts.
