The Government Digital Service (GDS) is currently advertising 42 IT jobs worth a potential total salary package of nearly £3.5 million.
Interested applicants will have to be quick with their applications, however, as the closing date for all but one of the roles, is in just two days – 11 January.
The GDS, which officially opened for business in December 2011, was established to delivery government services digitally.
Digital projects that have so far been undertaken by GDS include the creation of the E-Petitions website and the development of a Tech City App.
According to the Civil Service jobs website, GDS is offering salary packages of up to £73,000 for each of the 22 developer and four web ops roles. It is also looking for seven interaction designers, three product managers and three technical architects (up to £97,500 each) and two creative leads (up to £111,000 each).
Meanwhile, the deadline for applications for the delivery team manager role (up to £97,500) has been extended to 20 January.
All the jobs are for a fixed term of 24 months, with a possibility for extension.
Some of these jobs were advertised last October, but have been re-advertised with higher salary offers after they were unfulfilled the first time round.
