Phil Sayer

Phil Sayer is an independent consultant, specialising in advising major corporate users and service providers selling into major corporates.
Until April 2004 Phil was Head of Distribution, Global Operations for Reuters (www.reuters.com), the world’s leading news and financial information organisation, responsible for Reuters distribution networks and data centres globally.
From 1997 to 2003 he was Global Head of Communications at Reuters, leading global telecommunications strategy and with accountability for an annual spend on telecoms exceeding $500m.
From 1993 to 1996, Phil was Managing Director of Reuters Connect Services, a subsidiary of Reuters which was established in 1993 to sell telecoms services to end users; and from 1990 to 1996 Deputy MD and General Manager of Wyatts, a subsidiary of Reuters which developed and manufactured voice dealing room equipment for the financial and other markets.
After graduating and before joining Reuters in 1985, Phil spent 13 years with British Telecom.
