1Clipboard allows users to share the contents of their clipboard across all their desktops (PC or Mac, iOS and Android apps "coming soon"), so they can copy something on one system, and immediately paste it on others.
The program works by syncing its data over Google Drive, which means you'll need a Google account to make it work. But if that's not a problem, setup is otherwise quick and easy, leaving you with no obvious changes beyond an icon in your notification area.
The idea is that you carry on using your computer as normal, copying and pasting text and images (not files) as required.
Go to another computer running a synced copy of 1Clipboard, launch it (Ctrl+Alt+V or Cmd+V by default), and a list of everything copied to the clipboard appears.
The latest items appear at the top of the list, but there's also a Search option to help you find whatever you need.
Once you've found it, click the item, it's copied to the local clipboard, and you can paste it wherever you like.
If you're wary of sharing your entire clipboard contents, then so are we. Even if it's a close colleague, friend or family member, there may well be something you don't want them to see. 1Clipboard does have an option to "pause syncing" on demand, which does give you a chance of privacy-- if you always remember to use it.
Version 0.1.8 (Changelog):
Added Chinese, Dutch, German, Hungarian, Italian, Portuguese(BR), Spanish, Turkish languages
Fixed Favorite item issues
Fixed small crash issues
1Clipboard is a basic clipboard manager, with text and image support only. But that's no surprise for such an early release, and even now the program seems reliable and easy to use. One to watch.
