HP has launched its NeoView business intelligence (BI)/data warehousing box that has been in a sort of stealth limbo.

It can have from 16 to 256 Intel Itanium 2 processors and operates under HP's Tandem NonStop operating system. It is designed for a 24x7 environment and can scale to hundreds of terabytes for data-warehouse consolidation.

This box is not cheap, starting at around $645,000 for a 16-way system and carrying on up to millions of dollars.
