The opening of Heathrow Terminal Five was a fiasco - but at least one traveller found something to be cheerful about.

"The wireless works well," said Roger Hockaday yesterday, talking by Skype, from the stricken airport. With one and half hours to wait for his flight to Amsterdam, and surrounded by chaos, he was pleased by one thing: "It's the first time I have had hotspot connectivity in a BA lounge for years. And its free!"

In fact, he may have been relieved as well as pleased - for Roger, as our regular readers may know, is European director of marketing for Aruba Networks, who provided the wireless LAN for Heathrow T5.

I just hope he arrived all right - and got his luggage at the other end!
