FiiO E6 review

Chinese company FiiO have been selling well-rated bits of audio kit to connoisseurs for some time now, and have acquired something of a reputation for building nice features into units that retail for less than most competing brands. Hisoundaudio Studio review

The hisoundaudio Studio eschews any notion of pandering to video, and goes straight for the jugular with audiophile-pleasing sound chops. A flash memory-based player, the model I was sent reported 8GB of capacity, although shop listings claim only 4GB as standard. Regardless, storage capacity is expandable through a microSD card slot that keeps company with the mini-USB interface along the bottom edge of the device.

Eminent EM7195 hdMedia DVB-T review

We’ve seen something of an explosion in the home media streaming market in the last year or so. Low power and low price Realtek chipsets have brought high definition media on the television within range of the average home user. While home theatre PCs have a greater range of features than the best media streamer, they tend to be far more expensive and power hungry.

AdFree Android review

AdBlock Plus is one of the most controversial pieces of software you will ever encounter. This is not because it is inherently dangerous, or even because it will cause damage to you, your computer or compromise your data. It is simply because it allows a user to easily block the display adverts that so many of the best sites on the Internet use to generate the income they need to keep going.
