HP has closed its blog website. The site is still on the web but has a red letter message: "Our blog site is temporarily closed for maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience."
The site has been inactive for a week, meaning that temporary maintenance in HP terms can mean a 7-day or more shutdown of facilities. I'm glad HP is not providing my storage as a service.
Charity says I should remember that last weekend was Thanksgiving in the USA and everything shuts down then. It's a good time to do maintenance work.
But then what kind of temporary maintenance requires a 7-day shutdown?
